“Ask and it will be given to you: Seek and you will find.” Matthew 7:7

When taking a birds eye view of our world today, there seems to be a lot of tremendous pain, suffering and loss. Twenty seven countries are at war and many more on the verge of war. We see families been torn apart by divorce, sickness and lack of forgiveness. Thousands of people are on the move in leaky boats to find a better life. Many are not making it. This was not how God intended for His children to live. God intended for us to seek Him and to experience the peace, joy and love.

Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you: Seek and you shall find”. Matthew 7:7. When we ask Jesus for peace, He gives us His peace, it is not a peace like the world gives. When we have God’s peace our hearts we are not troubled or afraid. There is no room for lack of forgiveness when we are in Christ. The bible says that, in this world, there will be trouble. In the midst of all that is happening in the world and in your life, seek God and his son the Lord Jesus. We have the assurance that we will find Him and the peace He brings.
